With the basic idea for a science fair project and all of this new knowledge now is the time to start planning your experiments. But wait, before you go any further read through the following list.
·Is the idea to complicated?
·Do I have enough information.
·Is there anyone who understands the project idea and will they help me?
·Am I interested in the idea and will it be fun?
·Do I have enough time to complete the project?
·Will it cost more than my family can afford?
·Can I get the equipment I need?
·Do I have or can I learn the skills needed to complete this project?
·Is it safe?
·Do I have the support of my teachers and parents?
·Does the project comply with the science fair rules?
Whatever you do avoid making the project to complicated. All that will happen is that you will end up with a very average project. Your idea should be concise, precise and self-contained. If not you will end up running out of time, money, motivation and have confusion by the bucket full.
